The beautiful camp of Mara Nyika boasts a unique location amid the treetops of the Naboisho Conservancy’s 50,000 wildlife-rich acres. Neighbouring the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the conservancy presents the opportunity to encounter the majestic and abundant wildlife of Kenya, while each guest’s stay also contributes to supporting over 500 Maasai families with a sustainable livelihood.
The intimate setting consists of just four guest tents, all enjoying the backdrop of the Naboisho Conservancy’s verdant landscapes. The tents are elevated to enjoy a treetop setting, connected by walkways to give a treehouse feel which is reflective of the camp’s ethic of exploration and adventure. The en-suite tents come with a private veranda, a dressing area and a small lounge, while the bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets, indoor showers and copper bathtubs.
All meals at Mara Nyika are provided by an executive chef and are mainly enjoyed in the camp’s dining and bar area, though picnic breakfasts and lunches are supplied as the perfect accompaniment to morning and afternoon game drives. The camp is also home to a lounge and library for some quiet relaxation.
Between game drives in the Naboisho Conservancy, as well as the neighbouring Maasai Mara National Reserve, guests can enjoy the likes of in-room spa treatments, yoga sessions and relaxing evenings around the camp’s fire pit, recalling stories from a day of successful game drives.
