Once an original family farmhouse, Okonjima Plains Camp is now a thatched lodge with an informal atmosphere and elegant rooms that look out to sprawling plain views.
Days are centred around spotting the reserve’s Big Cat and carnivore population – and the important conservation work carried out to support them. Other exciting activities here include guided mountain walks to discover the stunning scenery, birdwatching and following the Bushman Trail.
There are a variety of luxury rooms to choose from, all offering views across the grass plains, with a small private verandah and en-suite with shower.
The lodge has a secluded swimming pool surrounded by beautiful gardens, where a variety of birds and roaming wildlife can be spotted.
As days close, watch beautiful sunsets from your room’s verandah and dine on tasty meals at The Lapa, the open-sided, friendly hub of the camp.
