Desroches Private Island

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island

This is the only luxurious resort on the island and is widely considered one of the most unique and beautiful island hotels in the world. There are a collection 71 accommodations, ranging from suites and bungalows up to the seven-bedroom presidential villa, all with direct beach access, inviting you to live barefoot and feel the sand between your toes, and their own pools Feel like a true castaway as you explore this pristine tropical sanctuary edged by 14 kilometres (9 miles) of soft white beaches, filling your days with your own blend of excitement and relaxation – from world-class diving and fishing to luxurious indulgence at the spa.

Fregate Island

Fregate Private Island

The feel on Fregate, thanks in part to the total privacy the hotel gives guests that stay here, is wonderfully informal with a very natural, low key Creole vibe blended with superb luxury. Sixteen private thatch residences sit spaced out amongst the palms that crowd the island’s shorelines each complete with private infinity pool, Jacuzzi, daybed, dining pavilion, personal island buggy, and immediate views of the Indian Ocean waves. There are several categories of residences to suit couples or families, and some come with direct beach access. Or you can hire your very own private hill estate (Banyan) of three villas (sleeping six) which comes with private chef, butler, and maid. Mind you, you can go one step further and hire out the entire island to yourself… A long list of activities and services are totally dedicated to every guest during their stay. From almost every sort of water sport to PADI diving courses, star gazing, mountain biking and yoga classes. Despite it being an island, the dining is by no means a small affair. There are three different restaurants, but Fregate prides itself on being able to offering dining experiences almost anywhere on the island. Lunch in a treehouse, take high tea on a look out point, sink some sundowners on a sunset cruise, to private dining in your residence and sashimi picnics on the beach. Take your pick.

Denis Private Island

Denis Island Hotel

Being the only hotel on this idyllic Seychelles island, guests can experience private luxury at the beachside Denis Island hotel. The cottages and villas which make up the accommodation here are burrowed into an emerald tropical setting and designed with elegance and style, boasting open living spaces and complete comfort. Meanwhile, the main building is set on the seafront and houses an impressive list of facilities including a library, wine cellar, lounge and boutique. Local cuisine is served up at the outdoor terrace restaurant where themed evenings also take place. However, if guests would prefer an entirely private and little more romantic setting, candle-lit beach dinners can be arranged. This theme of luxury continues with the option of indulgent treatments and massages in guests’ own rooms, while the staff provide a warm and personalised service. With the exquisite paradise-like surrounds of Denis Private Island days can be whiled away lazing on fine sandy beaches or spent swimming, snorkelling and diving in the crystalline waters where a wealth of exciting marine life can be found.

Mahe Island

Anantara MAIA Seychelles Villas

From its fantastic cliff top setting at the end of its own private peninsula, with superb views looking out over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, MAIA is a paradise where you can escape, rest and relax. Each of the 30 spacious villas features an air-conditioned bedroom, private infinity pool, an en-suite bathroom with concealed garden-view shower, an enormous outdoor bath stocked with extravagant Hermès amenities, and gazebo with dining facilities, bar and voluminous day bed. You’ll also enjoy the personalized and intuitive service of a dedicated butler. The Ocean Panoramic Villas are just a few steps away from the beach. MAIA has the only gourmet restaurant to be found on Mahe Island, serving Asian, Indian, Mediterranean and Creole cuisine created using only the freshest ingredients. With a focus on flexibility, wherever and whenever you choose to dine at, and whatever you wish to savour, staff will be on hand to grant your wishes. There is also an expansive spa made up of three private open-air pavilions, each featuring its own garden, changing rooms and showers.

Mahe Island

Picture yourself on a white sand beach, bordered by turquoise waters and 120 hecters of verdant green forest.
