Days 1–4
Welcome to Cape Town
Start your journey with an exploration of South Africa’s oldest city. Cape Town‘s most famous landmarks such as Table Mountain, Boulders Bay and Robben Island might be well known across the world, but your travel designer will curate a selection of tours to help you get underneath the city’s skin.
Embark on scenic hikes and in-depth discoveries, topped off with delicious food, wine and hand-picked experiences.

Lion's Head

Head into the Winelands
Explore the picturesque Winelands on a private guided tour. Discover wine farms, quaint historical towns and vine-blanketed hills as well as some of the country’s top restaurants and boutiques. Your guide will choose wine estates and a restaurant that suit your specific tastes, and will also be able to recommend any other artistic, botanical, historic or cultural stops you may be interested in.

Embark on a guided hike to Lion's Head
A great option for a sunrise or sunset hike, on a clear day the top of this trail offers breathtaking views across all of Cape Town. Your private guide will help you navigate the trickier parts of this moderate hike, which is about a five and a half kilometre round trip.
Days 4–7
Discover the Kalahari's Tswalu
Spread across Botswana, eastern Namibia and the north of South Africa, look beneath the Kalahari’s harsh exterior and you’ll find a well-adapted ecosystem that supports a spectrum of animal and plant life. It spans a variety of terrains including semi-arid savannah and lush green grasslands that bloom with life.
Base yourself in the Tswalu Kalahari Reserve – South Africa’s largest private game reserve – where vast plains meet the ancient Korannaberg mountains. Spend three days exploring its diverse habitats on thrilling game drives and bush walks.

Watch Meerkats

Enjoy private game drives
Join an experienced guide and tracker in search of exhilarating wildlife sightings. See cheetahs on the hunt, packs of wild dogs roaming the land and magnificent prides of black-maned Kalahari lions. On game drives you’ll also have the chance to spot more elusive species like aardvarks, pangolins and Hartmann’s mountain zebras.

Take a walk on the wild side
Explore the savannah on foot and the finer details of the bush reveal themselves. Follow your guide through Tswalu’s vast terrain to trace the tracks of porcupines and desert black rhinos. Look out for birds in the trees like white-browed sparrow weavers and African red-eyed bulbuls. Lower your gaze to discover the blooms that colour the landscape in harmony with the season.

Witness the antics of meerkats
Observe Tswalu’s habituated meerkats from afar, one of the reserve’s smallest predators. Experience their intricate social behaviours. Watch them surface at dawn, engage in playfighting, groom with care or catch the final rays of sunshine at dusk.
Days 7–10
Amidst the Cederberg Mountains
The final leg of your adventure through South Africa takes you to the undulating range of the Cederberg Mountains in the Western Cape.
Staying at Bushmans Kloof, you’re surrounded by private wilderness. Fynbos-flecked plains and hidden mountain pools thread the landscape. Journey deeper to find rock formations shaped by nature. Look closer and uncover paintings that tell the story of the San: Southern Africa’s earliest inhabitants.
