Days 1–5

A family safari in Sabi Sands

Your first four nights will be spent in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, a stunning wilderness neighbouring the famous Kruger National Park, only far more exclusive and with even better wildlife viewing. Choose from a hand-picked selection of our favourite family-friendly luxury lodges here so that along with exciting game drives out to spot lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and much more besides, your family will be enthralled by tailored activities such tracking animals on foot, bug catching and becoming ‘young rangers’. Come evening, adults can enjoy fine food and some of South Africa’s best wines under the stars while the kids are looked after. We can also arrange family villas for a completely private safari experience.

Days 5–6

A night in Johannesburg

You’ll spend one nigh in-between flights in sunny Johannesburg, South Africa’s so-called “capital of cool”, before departing for the Seychelles.

A typically Western business-style hotel, the standard of service, on-site facilities not to mention the Intercontinental’s enviable position so close to the Johannesburg Tambo Airport makes it an excellent and convenient hotel for those on their way out or in to the country. In fact this is the most sophisticated hotel next to an airport in the whole of Africa. The rooms are all soundproofed and smartly dressed with all the creature comforts that one expects from such a hotel.

Days 6–10

Beach time on Mahe in the Seychelles

Mahe is the largest island in the Seychelles, with a beautiful display of towering granite peaks surrounded by dense cloud forests which drop down to a tropical coastline strung with sweeping sandy beaches and secret coves. Spend some lazy days here enjoying the white sands, lush tropical forest and azure waters, getting out into the ocean for some excellent snorkelling, scuba-diving, sea-kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing and more. There are also plenty of activities to be enjoyed on land, and the capital city, Victoria, is a great place to visit for the day to experience the arts and crafts markets.

Picture yourself on a white sand beach, bordered by turquoise waters and 120 hecters of verdant green forest. You’re at the Constance Ephelia, part of the Constance Unique Resorts collection, on an exotic escape to the island of Mahé in the luxurious Seychelles archipelago. You’ve slept soundly in your opulent, spacious and contemporary beach villa and awoken feeling revived. Deciding where to have your freshly prepared lunch is the toughest choice you’ll face today: the resort has no fewer than five restaurants to choose from, each with their own unique style and taste. After lunch, you don your snorkelling mask and are transported to an enchanting underwater realm of exquisite granite reefs and lonely wrecks, preserved by strict conservation rules. Or choose to visit the fascinating marine national park of Port Launay which the resort overlooks. On your return, there’s just time to treat yourself to a trip to the Spa Village for some well-deserved pampering – this is the holiday of a life time after all. Then it’s time for dinner and a magical evening spent in the company of loved ones, stargazing and flitting between the resort’s five restaurant bars.
