Escape to a secret island surrounded by turquoise waters and make yourself at home in a comfortable villa inspired by beach house romance and elegance. With a colour palette inspired by the surrounding nature and pops of ocean hues, the villa offers five air-conditioned suites which lead onto a pool and outdoor living spaces. There are two traditional bandas (beach chalets) that are filled with furniture hand-carved by local artisans and soft fabrics from Mafia Island.

In the large living area you’ll find an indoor aquarium, and there’s also an impressive wine collection, a gym and a library. The executive chef will be in touch ahead of your stay to discuss your dining requirements, before crafting a delectable menu especially for you. During your time on the island you can choose to dine under the stars and also enjoy barbecues and pizzas, sizzling from the oven.

The team at Thanda Island includes butlers, guides and spa therapists, all on hand to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible during your island escape.
