Nestled between Tanah Lot and Seminyak on Bali‘s southern coast, Canggu is all about the laidback vibes. Its black sand beaches are popular with surfers but even if you’re not looking to ride the waves, the epic sunsets are reason enough the visit.
This coastal village is quieter than neighbouring Seminyak but there is still plenty to keep you busy. As well as the beautiful beaches, there are lots of wellness cafes and cool bars dotted along the coast where you can simply enjoy watching the world go by with a freshly squeezed juice in hand.
Canggu is the perfect place to simply switch off for a few days with the beach on your doorstep and some great boutique accommodation. You’re also not far from the island’s lush interior where you can explore rice paddies and temples.
