Idyllic islands, vibrant cities, beautiful countryside and some of the world's friendliest people

Thailand is a country that ignites the senses with its rich culture, natural beauty and incredibly hospitable people. From the bustling metropolis of Bangkok to the pristine islands and rolling highlands, there is so much to discover.

Our in-depth, first-hand knowledge of Thailand means we can create bespoke itineraries that cater to your interests. Whether you want to dive headfirst into its intoxicating cities, experience the incredible cuisine or simply relax on white sandy beaches surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Andaman, Jacada Travel will help you discover your perfect Thailand.

Soak up the strong cultural heritage of the north in the towns of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai where our expert local guides will show you around the temples and palaces. This is such a beautiful part of the country. We recommend hiking, cycling and hot air ballooning as a wonderful way to appreciate it. This is also a great place to learn about Thai cuisine with visits to the local markets: our guides will take you to stock up on fresh herbs and spices, and we’ll organise cooking classes so you can learn how to create fragrant, authentic dishes.

Then take your pick of the Thai islands. Powder soft sand and turquoise waters make these some of the world’s most beautiful and with so many to choose from, there is an island to suit everyone. And of course, there’s Bangkok – a natural start and end point for your trip and an incredibly vibrant city that really showcases the best of ancient and modern Thai culture.

Thailand is an incredible place to experience, and sometimes, the best moments can't always be planned. One evening while in Thailand, I took a late night dip in the ocean and was lucky to enough to have the magical experience of phosphorescence lighting the way as I swam. It was an unforgettable evening.

When to visit

The best time to visit Thailand is during its dry season. For most parts of the country, this would be between November and March, extending into April and May for some regions. Thailand is characterised by the rainy, hot and cool seasons. The north is less humid and experiences the greatest range of temperatures with cold nights during the cool season. The temperatures are more consistent in southern Thailand but the Andaman coast is hit hardest during the rainy season (October to December).
