Days 1–4
Begin on the white-sand beaches of Jimbaran
Kick off your trip in Bali on the white sand beaches of the quaint fishing village of Jimbaran on the western side of the Bukit Peninsula. Calm, clear waters for swimming, and water based activities will keep the family well entertained, plus you can enjoy some of Bali’s finest seafood restaurants with fresh catches grilled over a fire of coconut husks and tables right on the beach.

The day begins with an early start to visit the food market and local fisherman to collect fresh vegetables, fish and meat. You’ll learn about Balinese cuisine and discover the secrets to the fresh, fiery flavours.
Days 4–7
Discover Ubud the cultural heart of Bali
Spend three nights and days exploring the island’s cultural heart of Ubud. With lush greenery and steep rice terraces that flank the soaring banks of the Ayung River, Ubud is one of Bali’s most scenic and relaxed destinations. It is also peppered with the island’s most important holy sites, temples and artisan workshops – Ubud is considered by many to the cultural heart of Bali.
During your time here, you’ll attend traditional arts and crafts workshops, visit thriving artist communities, and admire working temples.
A highlight will undoubtedly be a trip to a bustling night market. Soak up the atmosphere, discover local culinary traditions and sample regional delicacies as you stroll through the stalls with an English-speaking guide.

Half-day whitewater rafting
Choose to raft on either the more challenging waters Telaga Waja River, which is made up of Class III rapids, or the slightly calmer Class II rapids of the Ayung River. The five-man boats (four passengers and one guide) spend around two hours covering 14km of river through breathtaking scenery, ranging from gorges and waterfalls to traditional farmland. An Indonesian lunch is served at the end of the trip in a restaurant that enjoys fantastic views.
Full-day cycle tour of Bali with hot springs
Enjoy a group tour cycling through unspoilt Bali. Begin your journey at the Jatiluwih rice paddies and continue on a trail taking in views of the central mountains, highlands and villages. Relax at a hot spring before lunch.
Days 7–10
Immerse yourself in the wonders of Lombok
It’s a fun speed boat ride to the neighbouring island of Lombok for serenity, swimming, snorkelling and day sailing around the Gilli Islands. Very little of Lombok is developed, leaving its unhurried rural landscape of rice paddies, towering palms, sporadic and dense jungle, all under the imposing Mount Rinjani, blissfully untouched.
