Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô

A far-flung coastal treasure celebrating nature and culture

Vietnamese architecture takes centre stage

Discover Bãi San Hô – set on a whopping 245 acres of land, the far-flung hotel stands on a secluded peninsula of the Phu Yen province. Inside, the area’s local dishes, traditions, materials and architecture take centre stage, with all four of their villa types drawing on different styles of Vietnamese architecture. Guests can choose ancient rice paddy fields, verdant hilltops or mile-long powder white beach as their own private setting, from the collection of 73 free-standing villas.

The Hill Pool Villas are perched on top of the green hills surrounding the private bay of Bãi San Hô and boast stunning sea views while the Beach Pool Villas give private direct access to the beach. There are also the Rice Paddy Villas that do not disappoint either – they resemble traditional fishermen’s huts, feature a private terrace and are set within the serene setting of rice paddy fields.

Three dining experiences reveal the essence of Vietnamese cuisine: Bà Hai offers authentic immersion into Grandma Hai-style regional cooking, Làng Chài’s thatched huts on the beach host a lively grill restaurant served daily by the local fisherman, while Nhà Ở is the heartbeat to the resort with panoramic hilltop views and all-day Southeast Asian and international menus.

From here, you can explore the private bay by catamaran or snorkel the coral reefs. Embark on a historic journey back to 11th-century Cham dynasty and experience the temple bells and blessings at Quy Nhon. Learn the local craft of fishing and dine on a Vietnamese long boat. Follow the picturesque walking trails and find the perfect picnic spot. Or, let time glide effortlessly as you relax with the signature ‘Sea Elixir’ at the resort’s Hoa Sen Spa which features seven treatment rooms (including 3 doubles), hammams, saunas, a tea room and large relaxation areas, ideal to unwind.

The impact of your stay:

  • Recognising the importance of protecting the bay and its coral reef, the Bai San Ho team raises awareness about waste management. They engage the local municipality and provide their team with training on trash collection and recycling. A full-time landscaping team collects sea-borne trash and they actively participate in local village cleanup initiatives.
  • As a guest, your stay helps to support their partnership with a local NGO to analyse coral degeneration, remove trash and ghost nets, and eliminate invasive crown of thorns species. This project aims to measure biodiversity and support restoration by growing coral fragments in a nursery before transplanting back into the reef.
  • Guests staying at the hotel contribute to the education for children from low-income families in collaboration with Saigon Children’s Charity CIO.
