Avan Dzoraget Hotel

An Armenian hideaway

A riverside escape

Located halfway between the capitals of Georgia and Armenia, Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel is set in a basalt stone building that is reminiscent of Medieval and Sanahin monastery architecture. A large courtyard overlooks the Debed River and the hotel is split across two buildings, with a pretty alleyway. In the main building you’ll find a lobby bar, lounge area, the restaurant and a billiards room. The rooms are elegant and neat, with handcrafted furniture and remarkable Tufenkian carpets adding to the ambience.

Take a table at the Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget restaurant to enjoy a wide variety of delicious traditional Armenian and Georgian dishes. You can choose between dining in the opulent restaurant or out on the terrace overlooking the Debed River.
