Glass Igloos at Arctic Snow Hotel

Located in a clearing on the shores of Lehtojarvi Lake are a collection of glass igloos. Dotted on a blanket of snow and surrounded by pine trees, this is the perfect place to immerse yourself in this most magical of landscapes.

The roofs of the igloos are made from electrically heated glass and there is underfloor heating, ensuring you stay cosy and warm. Motorised beds can be adjusted to whichever position you like, so you can lay back and gaze at the starry sky through the domed roof in comfort. There is a small refrigerator and a kettle so you can watch the snow sparkle in the early morning light with a cup of coffee in hand.

Breakfast can be enjoyed in the main building or you can choose to eat in the comfort of your igloo. Kota Restaurant with its blazing fire is an inviting space in which to enjoy dinner, or you can take a seat at the Ice Restaurant and Ice Bar where all the tables, chairs and glasses are made from ice.

Lapland is an outdoor playground waiting to be explored, with snowshoe hiking, snow sculpting and ice fishing on offer. And when you’re ready to unwind, the Snow Sauna, Finnish sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi are waiting back at the hotel.
