When to visit Paris
As the saying goes, Paris is always a good idea. There truly is no bad time to visit the city, with plenty to keep you entertained all year round, although certain periods may be quieter than others.
The winter months of January to March are typically the quietest, although expect the weather to be cold – daily high temperatures are typically around 8°C (46°F), although can be lower, and it may also be quite wet. This is a great time to lose yourself in the city’s plethora of museums and galleries.
Bear in mind that many Parisians leave the city to holiday during the month of August, and some restaurants may be closed during this time.
