The accommodations are divided into three sites, with laid-back vibes found in Arion, dynamic stylish identity in Nafsika and the best in beachside luxury in The Bungalows. All offer bright and spacious quarters which boast lovely sea or garden views, while some suites and bungalows benefit from their own private pool.

Located throughout the hotel’s three sites, guests will benefit from eight exciting restaurants, lounges and bars. From Greek seafood at Pelagos and Aristotle’s Cigar Bar in Arion, to Italian cuisine at Mercato and the vibrant Avra bar in Nafsika, there are a mix of dining experiences to enjoy at Astir Palace.

AthensWAS Hotel is located in Plaka, in the historic centre of Greece and within walking distance to the iconic Acropolis, where you can delve in Greek antiquity. Originally, the building was an apartment complex; today it houses 21 luxury rooms and suites where the essence of Athens’ rich past has been combined with elements of modernity.

Each accommodation is designed with comfort in mind, while subtly incorporating references to Greek history, such as images of sculptures from the National Archaeological Museum. The hotel also serves some of the best views of the UNESCO-listed Acropolis from its SENSE Restaurant. Inside the kitchen, Chef Charalambopoulo is at the helm with traditional Greek culinary delights.

NEW Hotel

Located moments from Constitution Square and within walking distance to the city’s main attractions, the NEW Hotel provides one of Athens’ most modern lodgings with playfully cutting edge design in a place otherwise synonymous for antiquity.

There are 79 rooms and suites, all of which feature their own art installation and surrealist custom furniture, as well as comprehensive soundproofing, fine beds and blackout blinds. The Penthouse Suite is particularly noteworthy for its fine views to the Acropolis.

The rest of the hotel is strewn with bold design features and art, some made with remnants of the original hotel that once occupied the 50s modernist building, with the restaurant perhaps the most striking space. Open from breakfast until midnight, it serves new takes on Mediterranean cuisine, and oven-fresh bread and pastries from the bakery. There’s also a fabulous rooftop lounge, a bar and wellness area with a gym and spa.
