Opus XVI

Classic luxury and modern comfort

One of a kind experience

Run by relatives of composer Edvard Grieg, the aim at Opus XVI is to create a one of a kind experience for guests. With 65 individually-designed rooms, the Bergen hotel offers classic luxury combined with modern comfort and design. You’ll find echoes of the composer’s remarkable life story sprinkled through the spaces here. The historic building itself was originally a bank. The charming rooms offer views towards Fløyen or the quiet Vågsallmenningen.

Opus XVI also boasts a restaurant, bar and classic café. Enjoy relaxing and delicious À la carte breakfasts, treat yourself to an Afternoon Tea or tuck into exciting dishes at the French-inspired brasserie.
