The building itself dates back to 1914 and boasts architecture inspired by the Art Nouveau period – something not often seen in this part of Romania. While it was being renovated and remodeled, the original plans of the house were unearthed in a safe which was hidden behind some furniture. The stone façade was cleaned and waterproofed, with the original paintings that once adorned it restored and still visible. One of the highlights of the magnificent house is the rooftop terrace that allows uninterrupted views out over the Brașov Fortress.
