The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa

On the western fringes of Aberdeen, the owner run Marcliffe Hotel and Spa is welcoming country hotel surrounded by woodland that has welcomed statesmen, the British Royal Family and legendary golfers.

There are 40 modern rooms and suites here as well as a restaurant specialising in Grampian cuisine – Aberdeen Angus beef, game with fish and shellfish from local rivers and ports. The wine cellar holds more than 400 wines and the cosy Drawing Room bar is stocked with more than 100 choice malt whiskies.

Aberdeen has much history to discover and the surrounding region is peppered with hundreds of castles, dozens of whisky distilleries and fine golf courses, with the fine Highland scenery of the Cairngorms a short distance up the River Dee.
