The epic, highest point on Earth
Home to eight out of the ten highest peaks in the world, not to mention the Earth’s highest mountain, the monumental, awe-inspiring Himalayan range is simply not to be missed.
The Himalayas is no ordinary destination. It is the world’s most spectacular mountainous terrain, straddling India, Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet. Nepal offers some of the greatest treks, particularly the Annapurna circuit: a true haven for trekking and mountain lovers. The mountains have a profound religious significance, making your journey that much richer. You’ll pass prayer-flags, remote villages and ancient Buddhist monasteries (of which there are over one hundred) on this scenic route to reach the summit of Annapurna; the Thorong La pass.
The Himalayan landscape is wonderfully varied. Between the snow-capped mountains enveloped in the clouds, the bright blue glacial rivers and the verdant valleys, you’ll want to be nestled in heart of this scenery, even if it is just to appreciate the location rather than scaling Everest.
At Jacada Travel, we can tailor a perfect trip to the Himalayas according to your preferences, whether it involves a trek or not.
