When to visit Bolivia
May to October is the best time to visit Bolivia, as dry weather and warmer temperatures are the norm. The Bolivian winter and the highlands are usually very cold, with temperatures dropping below freezing in the desert at night, particularly in June and July.
The dry season from April to October is good for sightseeing, trekking, mountain biking and other outdoor activities in the highlands. But if you’re there from November to March, you’ll have the opportunity to see the flooded Salar de Uyuni appearing like a giant mirror and enjoy the lush Amazon scenery.
