Rustic beach-side chic in Bahia
Trancoso is a mix of relaxed, beautiful beaches and genuine village life all mixing effortlessly alongside each other – this is what makes it one of our favourite beach destinations in Brazil.
It’s no wonder this has become one of the destinations for the Brazilian glitterati. As a result there are a number of excellent restaurants and boutique shops to explore set around the ‘quadrado’ (village square) while the coast has miles and miles of unspoilt beaches to explore.
We can help you to arrange tours, rent 4x4s to go exploring and many other activities to make the most of this most beautiful and charming spot in Bahia.
Highlights
Enjoy the wonderful beaches of this coastline
Dine out at the restaurants of the Quadrado
Explore the shops and boutiques of the village square
Trancoso is home to a plethora of beautiful beaches, with its picturesque quadrado square a lively affair where locals and celebrities intermingle. It's one of my favourite spots for an idyllic escape.
