Located about 45 kilometres offshore from Cartagena and with daily ferries running between, is the 120,000-hectare marine national park and archipelago of Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
More than thirty islets including the biggest, Isla Baru, have cultivated large coral reefs brimming with delicate ecosystems and unique sea life protected since 1977.
Most visit Islas del Rosario as a day trip from Cartagena, but there is the choice of staying at one of five places to stay on these islands for a little longer in this paradise.
We can also arrange for private yachts to take you to the islands and on which to stay on too, should you like.
