The Tayrona region is one of the prettiest stretches of coastline in Latin America, where lush tropical rainforest meets golden sandy beaches and the blue waters of the Caribbean.
It makes for a perfect combination of relaxation and exploration in an area which is home to more than 100 species of mammal, 200 species of bird and many reptiles.
Exploring further into the rainforest, there is evidence of the ancient civilizations that once lived here as the jungle has several archaeological sites. The park is sacred to the indigenous Kogui tribe and preserving this pristine and culturally significant area is paramount.
Accommodation in the park itself is limited so we have handpicked our favourite properties on the outskirts so you can enjoy the idyllic surroundings of Tayrona without having to compromise on luxury.
