Aria Amazon

Smooth sailing on the Peruvian Amazon
One of the finest luxury vessels on the Amazon, the Aria was designed by renowned Peruvian architect and designer Jordi Puig, and purpose-built to provide upscale luxury on the river.
The 16 oversize suites accommodate a maximum of 32 guests. The design suites have 250 square feet of space with air conditioning, California king beds, 280 thread-count Peruvian cotton sheets and a seating area – perfect comfort from which to enjoy the views through the extra-large picture windows. The stylish interiors were designed by renowned Peruvian architect and interior designer Jordi Puig and a curated selection of regional artwork adorns the social spaces. Four of the suites can be interconnected for families.
Excursions are made to the shore on motorised skiffs two times each day, conducted by naturalist expert guides, in small groups no larger than 12. The nature of the activities varies according to the weather and river level, but might include guided hikes and kayaking or canoeing along the river.
To relax, you can take advantage of the Aria’s large upper deck with an outdoor jacuzzi, air-conditioned bar and lounge and a sun deck, all ideal places to enjoy a post-excursion cocktail. Peru boasts some of the best food in the world and the Aria is no exception. Executive chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, one of Lima’s culinary stars, has created a menu that draws on both Peruvian and European influences to provide a fine-dining experience in the heart of the Amazon.

Places to combine Aria Amazon with

Peru
Inkaterra La Casona, Cusco‘s first five-star boutique hotel, is an exquisite fusion of history and culture. Tucked into the storied Plaza de las Nazarenas, this 16th-century manor house is framed by cobblestone streets and breathtaking Andean scenery. Once the training grounds for an elite Inca army, the property has been meticulously restored to preserve its original architecture whilst offering modern sophistication. Step through its grand entrance into a central patio surrounded by 11 suites. Ancient Andean textiles and original murals evoke the rich cultural heritage of the region, whilst modern amenities provide serene comfort.
At the heart of Inkaterra La Casona lies the Yacu Therapy Room, a tranquil retreat where rejuvenating treatments blend ancient traditions with locally sourced spa products. Here, the harmony of mind and body is nurtured in a serene setting.
The culinary journey at Inkaterra La Casona is equally enchanting. In the intimate dining room, the authentic flavours of Peruvian cuisine are elevated by fresh ingredients from the Andean region. Guests are also invited to a distinctive Tea Time experience, where Inkaterra’s award-winning organic black tea takes centre stage, offering a moment of pure indulgence.
Venture beyond the manor’s historic stone walls to explore the cultural tapestry of Cusco and wander the city streets, where echoes of centuries-old traditions mingle with the lively spirit of the city.
