Hacienda Concepción

Simple, Friendly, Well-Located & Good for Families

The new more casual sister lodge to Reserva Inkaterra, Hacienda Concepción is more easily accessible and with the same values placed on sustainability, service and authenticity as its sibling.

A plantation house from the 1950s, constructed in the typical Amazonian Hacienda style surrounded by 819 hectares of rainforest and on the grounds of what used to be a cacao and rubber plantation, this lodge also used to be an ecological research centre, which speaks for both its location and profound biological knowledge of the region.

With an emphasis on your Amazonian experience, its 6 rooms and 19 cabanas are quite open to the exotic environment around you but are impressively clean, simple and comfortable. The cabanas are the same level of luxury as those of its sister, the Reserva Inkaterra.

Next to a natural oxbow lake, the lodge acts as a buffer zone between the Tambopata National Reserve and the shores of the vast Madre de Dios River, so your daily river or land expeditions to explore the rainforest pretty much begin from the threshold of your room.
