Emblematic rivers like the legendary Simpson, stunning Manihuales, Emperado Guillermo, the Rio Nirehuao - famous for its unbelievable hopper fishing, the Cisnes and more, allow anglers to explore fresh water and adventure every day of a stay, accompanied by passionate guides who have grown up along their banks. There are also day trips out to secret spring creeks near the Argentine border and to lakes around Cero Castillo that host huge trophy trout.
Other activities at Los Torreones include exploring the wild Patagonian landscapes by horse from the lodge’s stables, photographic tours and hiking, including an overnight camping excursion to get fully off the grid for the really adventurous. Trips to nearby attractions such as Cerro Castillo National Park and glacier treks can also be organised. Time here, whether fishing or discovering the region, is entirely tailorable.
