Mexico City's Southern Neighbourhoods Coyoacan, San Angel and Xochimilco

Your guide will meet you at your hotel for a 6-8 hour privately guided visit of Mexico City’s charming southern neighbourhoods. You will visit the interesting colonial suburbs of Coyoacan and San Angel. You will also have the chance to visit pretty Xochimilco where you have a two-hour private ride in one of the traditional gondola-like boats, or trajineras, to explore these ancient waterways. Time and interest permitting, you can also visit the Dolores Olmedo Museum.

Teotihuacan Archaeological Site

Coyoacan and Xochimilco's canals

Visit Coyoacan, one of the 16 boroughs (delegaciones) of the Federal District of Mexico City as well as the former village which is now the borough’s historic centre. The tour’s next stop is at Xochimilco, a delegaciones that is characterised by its system of canals and the small colourful boats that float on them among artificially created land called chinampas. These canals are internationally famous and are all of what is left of what used to be a vast lake and canal system.
