Days 1–2
Cosmopolitan Santiago
Chile’s cosmopolitan hub, Santiago, sits in the centre of the country, between the arid north and mountainous south. The skyline of this sprawling metropolis provides a stark contrast to the towering Andes that loom majestically on its eastern horizon. Home to over 40% of the Chilean population, it’s abuzz with activity, and over the past decade has transformed itself from a necessary stopover to a cultural nucleus, pulsing with creativity.

Taste of Chile
This tour begins with a visit to La Vega Central Market in the heart of the old district of the city. During the day, you’ll visit various venues and get to enjoy empanadas, Chilean completo hotdogs, chacarero sandwiches and borgoña cocktails. Along the way you’ll discover more about the history and culture of the city, meeting a variety of people.

Heli trip over the Andes
Enjoy an exhilarating helicopter ride from Santiago, taking in some of Chile’s most spectacular scenery. Your flight will give you the opportunity to have a prime bird’s-eye view of the incredible natural world, taking in lagoons, valleys, volcanoes and snow-capped mountains.

Stargazing experience
Stargazing outside Santiago offers a mesmerising view of the Southern Hemisphere’s night sky, with constellations like the Southern Cross shining brightly overhead. The remote areas near the Andes provide clear, unpolluted skies, perfect for spotting distant galaxies, star clusters and even the occasional shooting star. Under Chile’s expansive dark skies, you’ll experience the Milky Way’s glow in breathtaking clarity.
Days 2–6
Spectacular Torres del Paine
Torres del Paine National Park, in scenic southern Chile is the ultimate trekking destination with granite peaks, azure glaciers, thick forests and epic lakes. Experience intense natural beauty on tours and adventures from sea kayaking and horseback riding to challenging hikes. The national park of Torres del Paine and its surroundings are one of the most spectacular and unique places in the world. Rising from sea level to a height of almost 3000 metres, the granite peaks that make up the ‘Torres’ would be a truly breath-taking sight on their own. However, when they’re joined with turquoise glacial lagoons, icebergs, snow-capped mountains, endless fjords, forest and rushing rivers all overseen by condors, pumas and vicunas, it becomes something truly special and, for many, the sole reason that they visit Chile.

Pass through dramatic mountain valleys overlooked by jagged peaks, submerge into dense forests and amble along glistening glacial lakes and crystalline alpine rivers.

Puma conservation
Discover Patagonia’s diverse fauna and the strategies Estancia Cerro Guido is developing to achieve respectful livestock farming that coexists with the native species. Join professional trackers in the field in their daily routine. Begin with the puma research work on the ranch, participating in activities such as observation with binoculars and review of trail cameras. Visit Casa Puma, the operation centre of the Cerro Guido Conservation Foundation. There, the trackers await you with an exciting video presentation and then take you on one last field trip at sunset, where you will see the research work being carried out in Sierra del Toro.
Days 6–10
Remote South Aysén
The remote southern tip of Chile’s Aysén region, this is a wilderness defined by its dramatic landscapes, towering peaks, and vast ice fields. South Aysén offers breathtaking views of fjords, glacial lakes and snow-capped mountains, giving you a sense of being in one of the most pristine places on Earth. There, you will descend to kayak privately to the Capillas de Mármol Nature Sanctuary (approximately one and a half hours). Then, board the helicopter again, head to the Exploradores glacier, and fly over a large part of the Northern Ice Fields. If you wish, a landing can be made in an appropriate sector, with all safety precautions so that you can descend for a few minutes over the glacier. World-class wine region
