Sea, sand, sun - Riviera life at its finest

Located south of the Sinai and near the Eastern Desert, the Red Sea Riviera is the place to go if you’re looking for long days soaking up the glorious sun and enjoying fantastic seaside and family activities. This long coastal area in Egypt is dotted with exquisite beaches, lapped by the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea. Whether you’re out on the water, the fresh breeze on your face, or dipping below the surface sharing the swells with dolphins and dugongs, it’s a great place to both relax and feed your sense of adventure. The year-round sunshine in the region also makes it the perfect place for diving no matter which months you visit.

The Riviera is home to a variety of hotels offering you a luxurious place to call home while exploring the surrounds. For underwater fishing, snorkelling and the world’s largest aqua-culture museum, spend time in Hurghada. In turn, El Gouna boasts excellent hotels surrounded by breathtaking mountains and beautiful waters. For more fishing and diving, Marsa Alam is a great option and offers some excellent sight-seeing opportunities as well. Slow your pace right down and spend a few days getting to know the locals in the charming fishing village of Dahab, or head to Safaga which is known for its mineral springs and black sand dunes.
