I was born in New Zealand and spent my formative years there, growing up in a country with such natural beauty and unique culture, but quite removed from the rest of the world by long plane journeys, inspired within me a desire to travel, learn from different points of view and experience the world through the eyes of others. Having lived in three different countries and traveled to over 50 since then, I have definitely spent a lot of time (and money!) in the pursuit of travel, and it has brought with it so many treasured memories, and really opened my eyes to the world around me.
My favourite trip
The Best of Rwanda's National Parks
To be able to spend some time with the incredible Gorillas, trekking through the National Park to find them and sit in awe just witnessing the endangered species. An incredible bucket list experience!
On my bucket list
Chile
South America is one region I've yet to tick off my list and Chile seems like the ideal place to start, I'm drawn to the mix of the Atacama desert in the north, vibrant Santiago and Valparaiso, and Patagonia down south.

Best Hidden Gem
Siwa Oasis, Egypt
It is the Siwa Oasis and a stay at the Adrere Amelall, whilst not for the faint hearted this eco-lodge has no power (the evening is lit by beeswax candles), and is quite the journey to get to the Western corner of Egypt, it is a true escape from the modern world.
My favourite hotel
DumaTau
An incredible setting overlooking a lagoon, DumaTau has some of the best service I’ve experienced in a hotel. Add to this great game viewing and the ideal place for sundowners over Osprey Lagoon and you’ve got a winning combination.
