I was born and grew up in Buenos Aires and explored a lot of Latin America with my family. Long road trips to Patagonia or to beautiful beaches in Brazil will always be in my memories. I moved to Europe and fell in love with this ancient continent, but Latin America will always be special to me; it’s the people, food and the diverse landscapes – you’re pretty much guaranteed to meet some incredible characters on a journey here. Strolling the colourful streets of Cartagena, trying local fruits, swimming in a cenote in Mexico, and walking on the granite peaks in El Chalten in Patagonia are some of my favourite memories and places I would go back to a million times.

My top tips

To experience El Chalten without the crowds, start your treak early early in the morning to enjoy the unique mountain peaks in silence.

Food icon

In Argentina, try as many empanadas as you can and for dessert nothing beats a "panqueque with dulce de leche".

When visiting Iguazu Falls, take a dry change of clothes, you will need them!

When in Patagonia I recommend you bring layers of clothing - the weather is notoriously changeable.
