Travel Designer

My love affair with travel and specifically Africa started when I embarked on a life-changing trip to a South African Game Reserve at the age of 18. Since then, I have travelled to many incredible places around the globe, immersing myself in diverse ecosystems and encountering fascinating wildlife along the way. For 16 years I called Africa home. My passion for travel, combined with my love for nature and the animal kingdom, has fostered a deep sense of connection to the world around us. I want to make a difference in my life and know that our planet currently needs us to be responsible. I am happy to be associated with a brand like Jacada who take conservation and the health of our earth very seriously.

My most memorable trip

The Galápagos Islands

An expedition cruise around the Galápagos Islands was a bucket list adventure. I snorkelled with turtles, paddle boarded with hammer heads and saw hundreds of blue footed boobies and iguanas.

On my bucket list

The Pantanal, Brazil

I would love to go to the Pantanal in Brazil to see the jaguars, capybaras and cayman. I love water safaris and rainforests.

See where I’ve travelled

A herd of wildebeests crashing through the waters of the Mara River, between Tanzania and Kenya, during the Great Migration.

My favourite trip

Rwanda Gorilla Trekking and Maasai Mara Safari

Trekking with gorillas and following the wildebeest migration in East Africa has to be one of the ultimate wildlife adventures. A tremendously exciting trip, particularly if you get to witness the wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River.

My favourite hotel

Angama Mara

The stunning Angama Mara in Kenya's Maasai Mara region is one of my favourite hotels in Africa. The attention to detail is so well thought out and the view is mind blowing.
