I have loved travel for as long as I can remember but my real passion started for it with a 6 month round the world trip after graduating university. After that trip I knew I really wanted to get to know another country on a deeper level by living there so I moved to South Korea to teach English as a foreign language. I spent 5 incredible years in Korea and it is a place very close to my heart, from its vibrant modern cities to its historic palaces, its soaring mountains to its interesting islands, it’s a very special country. During my time there I was lucky enough to travel a lot around Asia, but there’s still so many places I want to visit – the list grows every day!

My most memorable trip
Japan
Japan is one of my favourite places and I’ve visited several times. One of my most memorable trips there was when we visited Nara - famous for its ‘bowing’ local deer, what I loved most was wandering its peaceful forest shrines.
On my bucket list
Bhutan
As a lover of hiking, Bhutan is a bucket list destination for me. It is such a fascinating country with incredible natural beauty.
