I first fell in love with travel on a family trip to Australia. It was then I realized how good travel is for the soul – a special kind of joy you can’t find anywhere else. Years later, I finally experienced Latin America, and it exceeded all my expectations. The rich culture, stunning landscapes, amazing people, and unbelievable food left me in awe.

From visiting Frida Kahlo’s house in Mexico to watching the sunset over Tikal in Guatemala, seeing the Great Blue Hole in Belize, and sloths in Costa Rica – every moment felt magical. I swam with wild dolphins in Panama, saw llamas at Machu Picchu, explored the Galápagos, and had the best steak of my life in Argentina. Each trip has stayed with me, bringing a sense of wonder and energy. Travel truly is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer.

My most memorable trip

Galápagos Islands

My most memorable trip has to be the Galápagos Islands – there’s truly nowhere like it. I’m not even a wildlife person, but it completely blew me away. Every day felt like a new adventure, with surreal landscapes, empty white-sand beaches, and crystal-clear oceans. The marine life was unbelievable – swimming with nurse sharks, spotting wild dolphins, playing alongside friendly sea lions, and standing in awe of giant tortoises you won’t find anywhere else. It felt like another world. The people were warm, the food was amazing, and the entire experience was unforgettable. The Galápagos is a place everyone should experience at least once – it’s magic.

My favourite hotel

Pacuare Lodge

My favorite hotel we work with is Pacuare Lodge – it’s such a special place. It’s one of those rare destinations where the hotel itself is the reason to visit. Staying in a luxury treehouse-style villa in the middle of the rainforest is unforgettable, and rafting in and out just makes it even more unique.
It’s truly one of a kind – a place that combines adventure, nature, and luxury like nowhere else.

My top tips

If going to Costa Rica do not skip the Caribbean Coast! It offers fewer people, amazing food and stunning beaches with excellent snorkeling while also getting that pure ‘Pura Vida Experience’

When visiting Tikal in Flores, don’t miss the chance to take a sunrise or sunset tour. Watching the sky light up in stunning orange hues as it reflects off the towering temples and seeing the birds soar through the misty jungle is a moment that will stay with you forever

When in Quito or anywhere in Ecuador, make sure to pack high-quality sunscreen – you're right on the equator! The sun here is intense, and you'll want to protect your skin while soaking in all the stunning sights. Trust me, it's worth being prepared!

Food icon

If you're heading to Peru, the culinary capital of the world, you might already be dreaming of dining at Central in Lima. But here’s a little secret: its sister restaurant, Mil Centro, tucked away in the breathtaking Sacred Valley, is absolutely fantastic too
