With a South African dad and a mum who was born in Canada and worked in the travel industry, our lives were a constant adventure. Family travel included Christmas holidays exploring the coastline of Cape Town, summers in Scotland, Cornwall or France and further and even a transformative family trip to China in 2007. I was hooked on travel from a young age.
After uni, I grabbed a friend and a backpack, and we took off on a trip to New Zealand, Thailand, and South America, it was an experience that further cemented my addiction to travel. Since then I have been lucky enough to explore more of Europe as well as India, Ecuador & the Galapagos, Argentina, Sri Lanka and further into Africa, visiting Kenya, Uganda and Madagascar for the first time.
My own travel bucket list is still full: I dream of visiting Namibia, Costa Rica, Antarctica and Australia in the coming years while continuing to explore more of Europe and the UK.

My most memorable trip
South Africa
South Africa remains one of the most special places I have ever been. We have lots of family there and have spent a lot of time exploring Cape Town and its amazing wine, food and getting know the people who live there, as well as venturing further north to go on safari.
My favourite hotel
The Taj Lake Palace
Staying at this iconic floating hotel in the middle of a lake in Udaipur, India, was a dream come true. It is famous for featuring in the James Bond film Octopussy of which I am a huge fan. The views from the roof are stunning and you get some pretty great sunsets too.

This epic trip takes you from the grand palaces of Rajasthan to the lush backwaters of Kerala, showcasing India at its best.
