My most memorable trip
Thailand
My most memorable trip was to Thailand in 2007. It was my first solo trip across the other side of the world and first to visiting Asia. The first 3 nights were booked at a hotel just of Khao San Road and the rest was unknown. I'll never forget the feeling arriving in the bustling city of Bangkok, the traffic, the heat and the amazing smells from the street food vendors. Soon I had met other travelers in the same position and was on my way to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Although, I had seen them on television nothing prepares you for the experience in real life.
On my bucket list
Bhutan
My bucket list destination would be Bhutan. It's such a unique and less visited country where the local culture has remained throughout time. People still wear traditional dress to go about their daily lives. The amazing scenery valleys, mountains and scenery are also incredible.

Spending time with the countries gentle giants, the elephants in their sanctuaries is an experience loved by everyone.

My absolute favorite hotel is the Capella in Bangkok. The views of the Chao Phraya from the rooms, impeccable service, outstanding restaurants, friendly staff, the list goes on and on. Not to mention they are "Capella Moments" which are free join in classes each day and a Cin Cin hour in the evening to bring guests together in the famous Stella Bar.
