I love travel in all of its stages: the planning, researching my destination, packing, even going to the airport at 4am. Everything is part of an incredible experience.
I savour the first walk I take around my destination, roaming the streets, looking at the shops, the people, the way the air and the sun feel different, that first impression moment is truly precious. Travel is a gateway to many discoveries, both about oneself and the world around us, and the anecdotes, the people, the food – it shapes the way we see the world.
One of my favourite parts is going to a local supermarket and buying treats and snacks to take back and have a little taste of that place for a long time!
My most memorable trip
China
Visiting China was life-changing: exploring the many faces of such an incredible country helped me understand all the possibilities around us and how truly everything can be achieved. I was fascinated by its illustrious history, much of which is still evident today such as the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army – it’s hard to believe that you’re exploring thousands of years of human achievement.
On my bucket list
Iceland
I'd love to visit Iceland the Jacada way. I’d like to spend days exploring the incredible landscapes before passing the evenings gazing at the Northern Lights for hours on end. I think it would be amazing to combine it with a trip to Norway to explore the scenic fjords and traditional towns.

My favourite trip
Classic Italy
It’s so hard to choose just one favourite. Our Classic Italy trip is such a staple for those wanting to discover this fantastic destination. It’s jam–packed with incredible cities and amazing food. Zipping around Rome on a Vespa is a highlight for me, although the pizza workshops are also unmissable. I also love musicals and so the Sound of Music Salzburg tour is simply a dream for me – definitely a must–do for those who also love the film.
My favourite hotel
Adare Manor
I love all things classic! For me, the elegant style of accommodation at Adare Manor castle in Ireland is just gorgeous, and the service at Palacio Ludovice is fantastic. Every destination and hotel has its own charm and unique personality, and I love to see how they take inspiration from their surroundings and local culture.
