Europe Concierge

It all started when I was a kid, tagging along with my mom to the travel agency to plan our family vacations. I’d sit there flipping through the magazines and listening to the travel agent, dreaming of endless adventures. Those early experiences sparked my passion for exploring the world and helping others do the same. I’ve always worked in the tourism industry and I love to create memories and meaningful experiences that last forever. Even though I like to plan ahead, in my personal trips I love to go with the flow sometimes. I find that leaving space for spontaneity makes my own travels more exciting and memorable.

Europe

My most memorable trip

Turkey

I fell in love with Turkey, especially Istanbul, which is such a diverse and charismatic city. The markets, neighbourhoods, colours, flavours... it absolutely conquered my heart. The Bosphorus cruise is a must and it was a very special way to end the day. Cappadocia is also out of this world. Unfortunately the hot air balloon ride was cancelled due to the fog - but at least that gives me an excuse to return! However it's a gorgeous region, and even without this experience it was totally worth it. Two of the best things that made the trip really unique were the people and the food. Everyone was so incredibly kind and hospitable and every meal was an absolute delight.

On my bucket list

Rwanda

I would love to experience a wildlife expedition through Rwanda‘s national parks. I've never been to Africa and going on a safari is definitely on my bucket list. Rwanda is one of the few places in the world where you can see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. It would be the most incredible experience to see gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, then on the same trip spot the Big Five at Akagera National Park. For accommodation, Wilderness Bisate Lodge seems out of this world and I'd love the opportunity to stay there.

The Best Destination for Families

Spain

Spain is one of the best destinations for families. There's a bit of everything in this wonderful country, from historic cities to beautiful beaches and delicious food, so families can expect to find relaxation, adventure, culture and fun. Flamenco classes, cooking workshops, sidecar tours and private cruises are some examples of experiences that guarantee unforgettable moments for the whole family. There are several family-friendly hotels, and restaurants often offer children's menus. The cuisine also contains many child friendly dishes, such as churros, patatas bravas and tortilla española.

My favourite example trip

Italy

A Culinary Journey Through Incredible Italy is my favourite. This trip is just perfect for food lovers, wine connoisseurs and travel enthusiasts. For me, it's a brilliant combination of history, architecture and, of course, the unique flavours. I’ve never been so excited to try every new meal and ingredient. Italians say that it’s okay to eat pasta everyday, as long as you only eat lasagna on weekends, and who am I to disagree?

My top tips

I like to recommend slow travelling, which means you can spend more time in fewer destinations. This will allow you to reduce transportation emissions and deepen your connection with the local culture.

Europe's weather can change quickly, and in some countries you can feel all four seasons in one day, so I recommend that people always pack layers and check forecasts before travelling.

If you visit Porto, you have to try the famous delicious francesinha! Be passionately curious not only about the gastronomy but about everything that surrounds you in each destination.

The best time to visit the Acropolis in Athens is late in the afternoon: less crowds, lower temperatures and the lighting provides a warm glow that is perfect for photography.
