My love for nature and travel started when I was a child. My family and I explored mountains, lakes, museums, and local festivals instead of traditional holiday spots.

I studied Tourism and have travelled around South America and Europe. Before moving to Wales, I spent nearly 10 years in Patagonia, working in Los Glaciares National Park. This experience deepened my connection with nature, water, and wildlife. It was a time of great self-discovery.

My fascination with Celtic and Scandinavian cultures led me to my first European trip to Scandinavia, Great Britain, and Ireland. A few years later, I moved to Sweden and eventually made Wales my home. Each year, I look forward to discovering new places, and my bucket list keeps growing.

I am both an outdoor and indoor person. I love long walks in the forest, sunsets over the mountains, and catching the first sunshine by the sea. I also enjoy birdwatching in my garden, tending to my plants, and spending time with my furry friends and family.

My most memorable trip

Ireland

Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle, and I had the opportunity to explore the entire island with my sister. We rented a car, packed a tent, and embarked on a road trip. Its unique atmosphere is a blend of the present and the past, featuring castles and ruins, fairy tales, and Celtic heritage. The deep cliffs, rich fauna, and local beer add to the charm, and even the rain is an integral part of the landscape.

The best destination for families

Portugal

I personally think that Portugal is a fantastic destination for a family adventure. You can enjoy beautiful beaches and go dolphin spotting in the Algarve, or take painting workshops and cooking classes. It offers a mix of activities, including museums and palaces, making it a great place for everyone.

My favourite trip

The Magic of Harry Potter

The Magic of Harry Potter is the perfect trip for both adults and families. It includes visits to London and Edinburgh – the UK’s most iconic cities, as well as the picturesque Cotswolds and the breathtaking Scottish Highlands. The books and films hold such universal appeal for all ages, and being able to bring the magic to life with a tour of the filming locations is a truly irresistible experience. It’s also a great way to explore the UK, and whether you're passionate about history, culture, or nature, this itinerary offers something for everyone and it is easy to adapt.

My favourite hotel

Octola

Octola in Finland offers an authentic experience, connected to nature and deeply inspired by Sami traditions. I love its scenic views and proximity to the wilderness, plus it’s a great place to witness the Northern Lights.

My top tips

If you are travelling to the UK and Ireland, be sure to pack a waterproof jacket and an extra pair of trainers, even if the forecast predicts a sunny week.

For great sunset views in Stockholm, try Djurgården, where you can watch the sunset by the water, or Monteliusvägen, which offers panoramic views of the city and Lake Mälaren after a short walk.

I always recommend learning a few words in the local language of the country you are visiting. It helps create a stronger connection with the locals, and a little effort goes a long way.

Be prepared to dine later in Spain, as some restaurants don’t open until 8 PM.
