At Jacada we not-so-secretly love a little romance. Planning special touches and experiences for our clients is one of our favourite things to do. Our team has conspired with clients to plan unique dates all around the world, including more than a few surprise proposals.
Along the way we’ve had a lot of time to think about our ideal travel ‘dates’. Here are some of our favourites.
Horseback Riding in Swedish Lapland
What could be more romantic than a ride through the stillness of snow-covered forests in Swedish Lapland?
A winter getaway to this frozen wonderland is high on our wish list. Swedish Lapland, the Arctic part of Sweden, is known for snow-laden trees, sparkling mountains and of course, the odd reindeer or two.
Of all the ways to explore this part of the world, on horseback has to be the most magical. With no engines, the true silence of white-coated nature comes through and it’s easy to feel that you’re worlds away from everyone else.
